The editor also likes to bring your attention to the Swiss government’s intention to cut the budget of swissinfo in half. Many Swiss abroad get their news and insights of Switzerland from this service. A petition has been launched by several organisations active in the areas of education, culture, journalism and by Swiss citizens living abroad.
