Dear members,
With great sadness we need to inform you about the passing of Harry Hauser
Harry was born on September 30, 1948, in Lucerne, Switzerland, and passed away on December 29, 2025, in Naples, Florida.
In late 1975, Harry and his beloved wife Angi took a leap of faith and emigrated to Ohio, beginning a new chapter together in the United States. Soon after, Harry joined the Courbette Saddlery Company, a place that would become more than just a job—it became a lifelong professional home. His loyalty and dedication were evident as he proudly worked for the same company throughout his entire career.
When the couple moved to Naples in 2005, Harry continued his work with Courbette Saddlery. In 2011, he stepped into semi-retirement but remained active as the company’s Florida distributor, a role he enjoyed and took great pride in. He officially retired in 2023, closing a remarkable chapter defined by commitment, integrity, and consistency.
Deeply connected to his Swiss roots, Harry was an active member of the Swiss American Club of Southwest Florida from 2006 onward. The club was an important part of his life, offering friendship, community, and a connection to home that he cherished.
Harry will be remembered for his quiet strength, kindness, dependability, and the deep love he shared with Angi. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the example he set.
Rest in peace, you’ll be dearly missed.
