Sunshine, a gentle breeze, and not a cloud in sight—pretty much perfect picnic weather.
Members and guests gathered at The Landings Picnic Point, and it didn’t take long for the fun to begin. Laughter filled the air, conversations were flowing, and it felt like one big happy reunion. Vicki, our president, welcomed everyone, shared a few upcoming highlights and reminded everyone to keep an eye on the website. But let’s be honest—the real excitement started when she announced: “The grills are hot!”
Picnic baskets popped open, and suddenly we had a whole lineup of grill masters in action. From sizzling favorites to creative BBQ creations, everyone brought their A-game. Before long, plates were full and smiles even fuller. And then… dessert.
Once again, our amazing bakers stole the show. The dessert table looked like something out of a magazine—cakes, cookies, and sweet treats that made it nearly impossible to choose just one.
As the afternoon rolled on, the vibe stayed easy and relaxed. Some guests headed out, but many lingered—enjoying the waterfront views, the sunshine, and great company. Because really… days like this are what it’s all about.
