Celebrating 2026 with a New Year’s Brunch

New Year’s Brunch 2026 at the Club at Gateway

Forty members and guests gathered at the Gateway Club for our annual New Year’s Brunch. With the holidays officially behind us (cookies eaten, champagne finished), the brunch marked the perfect launchpad for our 2026 activities.

President Vicki welcomed everyone and introduced the one visiting guest and board members, then reminded attendees to check our website and sign up early for February’s fondue evening—always a favorite and always fully booked. A toast followed, wishing everyone a healthy, happy, and peaceful New Year.

As soon as the buffet aromas filled the room, patience disappeared. Plates were generously loaded with delicious salads, while fresh orders were placed at the ham and omelet station. The buffet stayed open for a full three hours, giving everyone ample opportunity for seconds… and thirds. For many, this was clearly the meal of the day.

The morning was relaxed, cheerful, and filled with good conversation, great food, and full plates. We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again next month for our famous fondue evening—bring your appetite
