On a picture perfect Sunday morning 24 members and guests met at the Tram Station of the Wildlife Sanctuary on Sanibel Island. A very charming and knowledge guide from Holland drove 2 hours with us through the untouched scenery. We spotted Manatees, Alligators and different Water birds. We learned about the different Mangroves, trees, plants and the impact of human on flora and fauna. We were able to enjoy the cooler temperatures of the fall season.

After a short drive to Captiva Island we met more members for lunch at the Green Flash Restaurant on the beautiful Captiva Bay. The food and view were excellent. Another memorable day we were able to spend with our friends. Thank you Rosmarie Strother for the organization.
