In memory of Rosemarie Strother

It is with great sadness to inform you of the passing of Rosmarie Strother, Honorary Member and former President Rosmarie Strother of our club. She died in her sleep at home on June 19, three days prior to her 87th birthday.

Rosmarie joined the Swiss American Club in 1999, one year later she was elected to the Board as Secretary. In 2004 she was elected to Vice President and in 2005 she became President. Rosmarie resigned from the Board in 2011 and was nominated as an Honorary Member in 2012. She was re-elected to the Board in 2013 and acted again as Secretary until her resignation in 2019.

She was very involved with the Club and was an extremely active member. Back in the days, she hosted the traditional Chlaushock multiple times at her house in Naples.

We are very thankful for all she has done and will always remember her fondly.
