Forty-two members and guests stepped aboard our sunset cruise, greeted by an inviting breeze. Laughter mingled with the sound of the waves as everyone settled in, ready for an evening that promised something extraordinary.

Our captain first guided us along the shores of Fort Myers Beach—a coastline reborn since Hurricane Ian. What was once battered now stood proudly revived.

And then… it was time.

We turned toward the horizon, the Sanibel Lighthouse standing tall and timeless like a guardian of the Gulf. The air was crisp, the visibility crystal clear—perfect conditions for a spectacle only nature can choreograph. Slowly the sun began its descent. The sky erupted in hues of gold, tangerine, and deep coral as if the heavens themselves were on fire. Conversations faded into whispers. For a few breathless moments, everyone awe as the sun melted into the ocean.

Once the final flicker slipped beyond the horizon, our captain powered forward and carried us back to port.

We disembarked and walked straight into the island-lit ambiance of Parrot Key Caribbean Grill, where dinner, stories, and laughter followed. One by one, guests drifted home—though not before a spirited few took to the dance floor, determined to squeeze the last spark of joy from an already magical night.

A sunset to remember. A voyage to savor. And an evening that reminded us why we gather—to celebrate beauty, connection, and the unforgettable moments in between.
