Today was a great day for the Swiss American Club of Southwest Florida. Our visit to the studio of WGCU (local NPR and PBS affiliate) on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University was wonderful. Our one-hour tour included visits to the radio and TV studios as well as lots of information about programming, funding, technology, production and execution. Our guides, Anne and Jennifer, were fantastic and full of knowledge and great annectodes. All around, this was a visit not to be missed. If you want to read more on WGCU, you can click here.
Following the visit, in good Swiss fashion, we all met up for a casual lunch in a nice restaurant nearby. You will notice all the smiling faces in the pictures. Hope we can welcome you at our next event in October.
